Helen had (is having) her babies! She has had 6 so far and is still going at it! This is her first litter, and so far she is being an awesome mom. 3 blues and what looks like 3 blacks. To say the least I'm SOOOO excited! I've posted several pictures of her and then a couple of the farm. It was a gorgeous evening here. Helen approved it as being so too!
Here are some photos of her in action!
It was so hot earlier though! Time to RELAX!
Melody and Harmony saying Hi! I love to take pictures of these guys. They are absolutely adorable! Melody is wanting to hop down! Sometimes I put her down on the ground and let her run around so I think she was hoping...
New baby ducklings also just hatched out. They are pekins, but are super tiny. I just had to post a picture of them!
Oh no Ginger! I didn't forget you!!! Don't worry!
This is my newest silkie Ginger. She is a Buff silkie, and I keeping her just to add some "spice" to my flock. She is adorable, and I also just had to post her picture, Right Ginger?
What about me Mama??
Sasha just couldn't miss out on all the fun either! This happy pooch is also expecting in July! Round #2 of babies on the farm coming right up and overflowing!!!
That's all for now folks! Leave a comment and let me know what you think! Thanks for stopping by!
Here are the pictures of my remodeled hutch! I totally love it, and it is so much easier to access. The below picture is the before. Everything painted white is how it looked when I bought the hutch. Just picture another tiny door where that hole is. I fenced my silkies in underneath my hutches, so all that feed that the bunnies spill doesn't go to waste. I think everyone is happy with the change!
I have the one side for my silkies to go in as a "coop" and the other two are rabbit cages. In one I currently have my bantams that I'm raising, but they are almost ready to move out. My dad helped me build this, and I totally love it.
Hello Everyone, Welcome to my Blog! Thank you for visiting!
Edith is due with some babies! She is ready to give birth here very soon, and I'm excited to she what she has. I'm expecting chocolates and blues, maybe a black or two. I have her indoors as she isn't the greatest mom, and has trouble keeping her babies warm. Check back to see what she has!
In other news, Helen and Emma are due soon. This will be Helen's first time, and I'm hopeful that she will be a good momma. Emma is one of my oldest does, and is a great mother. I will hopefully keep one of her babies... I also just remodeled my hutches! I will post some before and after pictures soon. Stay tuned!
