Wynn however, will be moving on to find a new home. He is a lovely bunny, and I believe he would be a good prospect for someone also working to improve their own herd. I just don't have the time and space to keep up with this many Angora juniors, and so Mona has taken his place.
As for Frederick, aka Freddy, he also placed well. The judge chose him for BOS (best opposite sex) against Mona. The judge mentioned she wasn't as pleased with his shoulder's at this point, but once again, he is only 16 weeks, and all the juniors are changing so much at this point. I'm interested to see what other judges think about him.
ROSA!!! This gorgeous little lady is well on her way to a successful Show girl. She placed 2/3 in the junior doe category, Mona beat her to 1st place for now, but I don't think for very long. Mama's pretty Rosa is transitioning into her SR coat, and is losing that baby fluff and density at this point. The Judge mentioned that part of the reason she is transitioning so hard (seeming more limp in coat than other juniors) is because she has a lot more density growing in. I call her Mama's Rosa around here, she really is a sweetheart. |
In other news around here, the biggest I would say would be me trying to make a decision about Ft Worth convention in TX. It is so tempting to go, next year I most likely won't get the chance, as it is going to be in Portland OR. So, 5 hrs away, And I have my closest drive for a couple years. I really want to go, let alone having a Judge Telling me to Take Mona to convention. If I was to go, Mona, Freddy and Rosa would be my candidates. While I'm well aware they most likely won't win anything, it would be a good time for me to go and meet so many people and learn so much.
Other than that, not a whole lot going on. Besides grooming all these juniors, and planning show schedules, Amy is bred and due hopefully on October 19th. We'll see if she has babies this time.
Thanks for stopping by! Hopefully I can get another post up soon! ~Anna
