Welcoming my new chocolate Dutch bunnies!! Finally!! I've been waiting and searching for over 8 months looking for some pedigreed Chocolate's, and I've finally found some! They are from Brosely MO (Really really far away from me) and are fully 4 generation pedigreed! They are my first bunnies that actually have a 4 generation pedigree and I'm pretty excited. There is one buck and 1 doe, The buck is perfectly marked, I'll be showing him with my Junior doe Cupcake this upcoming year. He has really good bloodlines, and although I know I've said this before, Both of their temperaments are far and above better than any of my other Dutch does or bucks!! When I let them out in the Garden (to get their pictures taken) every time one of the dogs would bark, they would come running to me like they felt safe. This is VERY different, as normally I'll spend 5 minutes trying to catch them, instead of them voluntarily coming to me. Mary Grace loves the little boy, and I love the little girl. ;) Here is a picture of her holding the buck. He seems to not mind this position, and even starts to fall asleep! Such a sweet sweet little guy! The female isn't as well marked as he is, her belt is very uneven, coming forward on her right front leg, but I don't mind. I think that if she is paired with the right buck, she should be able to have well marked babies. I haven't picked out any names yet, but I will soon. They have "brownie" and "Daisy" on their pedigree's, I might just end up renaming my buck. I like Daisy. :)
