One other thing I did this week, is a demonstration at a nice retirement home in SW Springfield, MO. Oh such fun! I had group of 30-40 lovely elderly people that came to a lakehouse/clubhouse to watch me demonstrate spinning off of the bunny, get to hold two of the sweetest babies in the barn (Siri and Enigma), and touch the skeins of yarn. I did a hands-on talk explaining much of what goes on here at Bungalow of Bunnies, and they loved it! I had such fun watching the joy on their faces as they learned about these unique bunnies. Several hadn't heard of Angoras before, and so everyone really had a wonderful time, including me. One aspect I loved, the clubhouse had a huge largescreen TV that I was able to bring a slideshow presentation to have going. That was a blast, all of these beautiful pictures I share with you all were able to be displayed and help with my presentation throughout the demo.
I especially love what I get to do everyday, the hard and the beautiful, and I love every chance of getting to share my joy with others.
Lastly, I'm going to share an adorable picture of what has been keeping me busy lately and not giving me more time for more frequent updates. ;-) Meet some of my little baby Sable Saanen dairy goats! I will be launching a website for my show sable herd, which I'll share with those of you that enjoy cute pictures. In the meantime, Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the pictures of some of the adorable babies! (These are a couple of 6 at the moment, 2 more mamas are due though and I'm getting a new buckling to be my herdsire. Looking at probably a total of 10-12 kids to raise!) They sure keep me busy! I handmilk, and we are bottlefeeding 4x a day. They are adorable aren't they?? Have a great week!
