Winter Sunrises can be Oh so Glorious! I captured this beautiful picture recently, and I'm still amazed at God's mighty power every time I look at it. Beautiful. My bunnies are all doing well, I stay busy bustling about tending to everyone, they are all so precious. I spent 4 hours this morning grooming my English Angora's, and now they all look like puffed up Marshmallows. :) In a way they are a ton of work, and in another way it can be very relaxing to spend time with them. I love working with animals, and most animals seem to like me, whether I know them or not, they want to be my friends. It makes me happy to groom my bunnies, because I know it makes them happy. So it turns out to be a win-win for everyone. I keep busy with my Dutch as well. I've sold most of my Tortoise program, so now I'm mainly focusing on my chocolates, my pedigreed blues, and cupcake, who I'm planning to show. I'm really excited about the upcoming show seasons, I'm hoping to enter several rabbits in the state show. I have more English Angora babies due! Angel is due in 4 days, I have my fingers crossed for some BEW's. Julianne my pretty Cream doe is also due in 4 days, both her and Angel are in the house with their nestboxes and so now they are all ready. I'm hoping I'll get some Fawns and Opals (gorgeous!!) from Julianne. I also just bred my black doe Cicily today to my Fawn buck Fitzgerald (Gerry). So I'm hopeful for some English Angora's bundles! I haven't been breeding my Dutch a whole lot, with the cold/and the days that get dark early. I'm planning on breeding some people this Saturday though. We'll see how that goes! There is a little update for you! I hope I can update some babies in just a couple days!! I'm also working on getting a 2013 recap of all my photos that I took in 2013 and creating a video. The plans are in motion, so be watching for that soon as well! Stay warm, and God Bless! ~Anna Olaf says hello!!! I'm in Love with Olaf. Totally. And someone is a definite part of the bunny family. :) He is just 8 weeks old, and is super duper cute. Staying warm?? Yikes, and it is coooollllddd outside!! What does that mean for my bunnies? It mean lets-go-in-the-house-and-have-some-snuggles-for-3-whole-days!! Yep, somehow they like to worm their way into the kitchen, and they are all greatly enjoying it. They are staying warm!! In other news, Olaf's brothers and sisters have gone to new homes, and are all happily starting new lives. One of them, his little Chocolate sable sister, is in Southern Oklahoma, her new owner made the 3 and then some hr drive to come and get her. So yes, Olaf and his new adopted sister Aggie are living happily in their cage in the kitchen, getting used to the grooming rituals, and getting lots of adoring attention. :) The bunnies enjoying the warmth inside! For some reason my English Angora babies love this position. Makes me laugh every time I see them do it, playing dead while they take their little naps. *No they are NOT dead, just having a bit of fun* Obviously this was taken just before the big snow. I've actually raised my babies entirely inside in our kitchen, I worry about too much cold exposure at such a young age. Yep, they certainly are a little spoiled. I'll update again soon! Until then, stay warm! ~Anna |
