Pictured above is Angelina's Litter that in the previous post were just tiny little babies! They are 10 weeks old now and growing fast! I ended up losing several due to cold temperatures during the winter months. BUT, these 3 babies are extra beautiful! I got a true Lilac. SO excited about that. She is also a girl, and has a beautiful body and density. She is a keeper. My goal is to eventually pull chocolate. Slow but steady process for sure. Lol.... The 2 others are bucks, and they are available. They are so very lovely. I wish I could keep them all! My sanity pleads otherwise. I can't even express how excited I am to see such consistency in all my litters. The whole level of quality in all my babies has become amazing and I love it that I have to make hard decisions about who is staying. That is what I strive for. One of the bucks that I placed with a friend and breeder last year who made my initial keeper cut, won multiple legs and Grandchampioned in Colorado. That makes me SO happy. These lines are performing everywhere they go! And Such wonderful personalities!
Formally Introducing
Bungalow's La Dame Blanche
A little history on the name.... Her name is French for "The White Lady", which during World War I was the code name of a secret underground allied resistance Intelligence group that operated in France and Belgium and was imperative in helping bring about Allied victory in World War I. I've been doing some fun and unique study the last year (purely out of interest) on the Intelligence groups throughout history that helped with underground work and secret sensitive intelligence data collection. This was an epoch and unique story in time that really jumped out at me. There is also a Mountain in the European Alps that goes by the name of the White Lady. Altogether.... This little doe has a uniqueness about herself to me, so I named her thus.
I nicknamed her Lady.
An offspring of the "My Lady Fairlight" line, which is unique, but I didn't plan this. Both My Lady Fairlight and La Dame Blanche were names that just jumped in my lap as a sudden thought that stuck. Very fun that it happened both within the same dam line.
La Dame Blanche is SO. Dense. I love my coloreds. I absolutely am thrilled with the little Lilac doe, and I'm so excited to watch her grow. But, somehow, time and again, one of these whites totally steal my heart. I just love my REWs. They are my girls, my true delight, my stunning clouds. La Dame Blanche has this fantastic body. The spilling coat texture like Regal Essence had. Her personality though!!! Oh so sweet! Like she knows she was born special and deserves to be treated special yet doesn't throw temper tantrums or hissy fits about it. (Ahem... Flicka of a Moment was a hissy fit diva)
I'm so delighted with her. She is special. She is making me think very seriously about Springfield Massachusetts. Like REALLY seriously. And Her sister... another introduction coming soon... is also very special. Convention prospects. In the meantime... I loving the cute perky fluffy ears fluffy sweet baby/teen stage. Because who else looks this adorbs as a teenager?
And this little guy.... Born to Ellie who was bred with Bri's Tomahawk. Oooohhhh I love this guy. What is with all the bucks??? I shouldn't keep him. He is so beautiful though. I'm dying over his color pigment. SO DARK. Rich personality. Cutest nose in the barn at the moment. He talks. Not out loud, but with that little nose. He begs, he asks for kisses, he wants more hay, he is just the spoiled little squirt. And I already love his body type. I know what kind of density he is developing. And I don't. need. another. buck. Someone save me from myself?? Please?? Ahhhh!!! |
